Just a note that BDP is unfortunately no longer running.

So there was a grand delay of 7 minutes, thanks for telling us. :D

I have had a scan read and it is looking good, :cookie:s for all, will be back in a few hours when I have read it all.

It was only some very hard work by our diligent design person, Kasey, that saw us slip past the finish line on pretty much on schedule. (And our Stateside members probably won't have registered us as late at all! :D)

A big thank you to everyone on the team (sterling efforts as usual, folks!) and to all our contributors. We hope you enjoy the end product. :)

Was going to comment, but forgot what I was going to say. :D

Okay, I've remembered...

One of the stories was not appropriate for younger readers.

It should at least have a disclaimer on top of it, and it definitely should not have an inappropriate word in the title.

We published the winners and runners-up of The Dark, as voted for by our members. The piece you are referring to (Do Bullets Cum?) was well regarded enough to earn second place in the prose category of that contest. I haven't noticed any complaints made against it the whole time it's been on the public forum, so I cannot imagine that anyone will be offended by it now. As for putting a disclaimer, that is not something I have ever seen in the magazines I've read and I suspect it would make rather more of a fuss than the matter deserves. :)

I'm glad I stumbled across this! Tim H's second chapter of Hellbound is hilarious!

Glad you enjoyed it!

Look for our upcoming issue, WBQ issue 23. :D

Er, shouldn't that be Issue 22? ;)

HoiLei 05-01-2009 05:17 AM

Devon is two steps ahead of the rest of us! :D

WBQ 22 is up now! Check it out here.

Devon 05-01-2009 07:19 AM

Whoops! Yes, I meant 22. I've been calling it 23 in my head for a while now. Lol.

Q Wands 05-01-2009 08:07 AM

As HoiLei said, you're probably already mentally planning for the next one! :)
