My 15 minutes

No Country for Old Men?

N-o-o-o thank you!

My 15 minutes

I've tried reading one of his books - "Tortilla Curtain" - but it was too grim for me.

I very much like his short stories, eg:

"Mexico" is v. funny.

"After the Plague" is intriguing.

II agree with socowordmachine: no changes needed.

I felt this was a sad poem, a poem of bewilderment.

Lovely rythm.

The Rich and Famous

M. Poirot. I'm speaking to anyone who wants to listen. But that doesn't mean to say that what I say is right. I can only pass on the knowledge I have learnt over two decades.

Every writer is...

The Rich and Famous

I can tell you're a good writer. I thought the cliff-hanger at the end of chapter 1 was excellent.

Konan,

Can I give you some advice from what I, myself, have learnt over many years?

You need to write out the entire story. Only when you've written it, will you know what the story is...

Intro to Villain

Great title.

I took a brief look. You have to give us paragraphs. There is nothing more off-putting to a reader than a block of typed words.

Here are some reasons why a writer can't get published:

1. You don't know anyone in the industry/you're not famous.

2. The average London agent receives 400/500 mss a week, yet can only...
