Why anyone cares what anyone on a forum thinks of their writing is beyond me. You need to worry about 3 people. Yourself, an agent, and an editor.

I generally write down simple notes or phrases in a notebook. I place them in some type of chronological order but it's very lose. I skip around in my writing so I just refer to notes when possible....
