That book was the fifth book I believe, Wolves of the Calla, and it was an overall minor reference to the snitches in that madly popular wizardly sport. Stephen Kings snitches would burrow into someone and pretty much ventilate said person. violently.

In my opinion Song of Susannah was the worst because it felt like filler.
