Default Members' Choice Announcement

Hello everyone!

Have you recently read something by another member that you feel deserves some recognition? Why not nominate it for a possible chance to appear in the next ezine issue?

You can place your nominations in the Members' Choice Nominations thread, located here. Please see this thread (What is Members' Choice?) for exact details.

Thank you!

Devon

Hmm... I don't quite know whether I missed the point or not - but why is this in the NonFiction section?

[EDIT: Oops, how embarrassing. Didn't realise it was in all as a sticky. Guess the NonFiction's just a little inactive.]

Ah, IanG's Suspect Package just missed the beginning of the time period... It would've got my vote.

Eh?

Where's your little bribe, now?

Kidding, of course. o.O (Or am I?)

Eh? My little Bribe...? Oh - stuffed him in the back of the cupboard for a bit and pulled out his mate decency. We go nice together. Sometimes.

Seriously. It was just a well-written piece.

Default The man was lost

Michael was perusing the forum called Writer's Beat and even though he joined & read all the rules & guidelines but he still wasn't sure if a post in the Members Choice Announcement thread of the non-fiction section would count toward his 10 post minimum.

He sure hoped it would but regardless, he wanted to throw his question out so see if anyone would throw an answer back.

The man had already written a full length novel (580 pages) and had already self-published it on Createspace/Amazon but wanted to know how he should classify his book.

His life's story talked mostly about his life's real-world work but since his occupation was so hard for most people to believe, he thought it could be considered a fiction novel by most people.

Of course, he knows his book is very autobiographical as well but it really taps into God power too so it could be considered a Christian novel as well.

What to do? Is there anyone out there who may know?

How about placing this question in Tips and Advice? It's not going to be seen sitting here. :/

Yes it is. I'd say, write it like you lived it unless by doing so you put other people's reputations, lives or freedom at risk.

Then change the names and put it out there as fiction.

Unfortunately, this conversation shouldn't be here, in the Member's Choice Announcement thread! LOL!

I believe he reposted in Writing Help and Issues already.
