I agree with you. I'm not sure how to do it, but I'm often confused because I can't figure what's there is an old conversation or is a new conversation. My other pet peeve is when two people are carrying on a conversation and I try to understand it, I'm usually lost about who said what when. My only solution I've used to is to always quote what I'm responding to. Otherwise there's no frame of reference as to who is talking to whom.
