Icon7 Hi from Colorado!

Hi All,

From Colorado, and writing has been an interest/passion of mine for some time but have never really taken the "quill by the feathers" so to speak. I am looking forward to learning a lot and trying out different genres both in terms of what I read and what I write. I really enjoy writing exercises (though NaNoWriMo is a bit too ambitious for me at this point), and have started (and stopped) several plots.

I guess I am a pantser, but really should be also develop my outliner thinking because I'll write and write until I hit a wall, then not know where to go, say it sucks and delete everything!

Looking forward to learning from the community!

Howdy CBJason.

I used to live in Colorado and loved it. Denver and Sterling.

You've chosen a good forum to grow the writing the skills.

I know the thrill of being a 'pantser' but without the discipline of a plan it always hits the wall. Why not do a google search for "advice for fiction planning"? Not only will you learn why you should do it, but you'll learn how to do it. This is worth your time to research.

So welcome to WB. wrc
