Random websites

Here's a game my daughter and I play once in a while. Think of a fairly common word or combination of words and type it into the browser address window to see if a website by that name exists. If you find an interesting one, post it here in this thread. It might be interesting just because of the strange address name and the fact that you randomly chose the words. It might also be interesting simply because it is a strange and unusual website.

For example, I just thought of purple feathers so I typed in www.purplefeathers.com. Turns out it redirects me to www.purplefeathers.net and that is a website that has something to do with art and science but I don't know what because it is in French.

Some other interesting ones I just found are www.dork.com, www.weirdstuff.com, www.pizzafish.com.

There are only two rules:
1. The website has to actually exist.
2. You have to learn about it by simply typing in random words as web addresses.

Ok, I'm kind of cheating here, because I know this one exists...but sometimes, when I feel the need to say "blah, blah, blah" to myself, I say "badger, badger, badger" instead. Yeah, don't ask why, but DO go to:

It's not me. I wouldn't live in Wisconsin for love or money. That place is Michigan (my home state from which I fled at age 19) with stinky cheese and Polish sausage on top of arctic winters.

Ahh, Wisconsin. The land of deep fried cheese curds, deep fried sausage with cheese on it, and lots and lots of Milwaukee's finest. It doesn't have those wonderful pasties that you Michiganders love, though.

Found another random site - www.friedcheese.com (lame site)

Don't forget the beer-battered cheesehead pro football fans in Green Bay.

The only pasties Michiganders love twirl around nipples in nudie bars.

Maybe pasties are just yooper food then. I see "Pasty Restaraunts" in the Traverse City area when I go ice fishing there.

Here are a couple more random web site about Michigan pasties and other yooper info:

http://www.pasty.com/
http://www.dobberspasties.com/

In case you don't want to have to go there to find out what a pasty is:

The Pasty, "Yooper" Soul Food
Established in 1975, Dobber’s Pasties has been a family tradition that has served people a hearty meal and taste of U.P. tradition. With two

locations in the Upper Peninsula, we are ready to serve hungry residents and tourists seven days a week.
All of our pasties are homemade with the finest local ingredients and baked fresh everyday. We take pride in knowing that we produce a product that is as unique, as it is delicious. So whether you’re a temporary or lifelong "Yooper", stop in and let us serve you the best!

I'd rather have Get Laid In Hawaii.com (even though they misspelled the play on words -- visitors get a flower lei upon arrival.)
