Default Christ,

it gets so old

Day after day

Wake up (damn, why does my shoulder hurt? Didn't hurt when I went to sleep)

Get some clothes on (these jeans were good enough for yesterday - they're good enough for this day)

Eat some food (yeah, yeah - I know some people, lots of people, ain't able to eat a breakfast - I am such an insensitive bastard)

Read some stuff on WritersBeat
Try to interact there as a social being

And - if it is one of my lucky days - sit on the crapper and scribble as my body makes room for more crap before I go to work

What's that?
You want me to be excited?
You want me to be afraid of terrorism?

Fuckin' terrorist best hope I don't see him before I get back to my bed tonight

Why?

Cause I don't need no vest to blow up

You should eat more fiber. And apparently you should wash your jeans as rarely as possible, so don't worry about it. It does get old, with or without Christ, the days slip through your fingers and the food slips through your body.

And "slips" means "a tie" in norwegian and I've just spent way too long wondering about how that could be a metaphor for the degestive system.

Y'know I think a writers greatest gift is the ability to break the monotony.

How?

Imagination.

I don't know of any newfangled form of entertainment or technological distraction which comes close to the inexhaustible breadth of a good imagination.

It's probably why illiterates learn to read, painstakingly, when locked in prison. Hmmm sometimes I think prison wouldn't be so bad, so long as the crazies left me alone and I had access to a library! 😁

I always believed the crazies were on the outside. Professors teaching, politicians governing ... making the world even crazier.
