Icon6 Arrived

Wrote for a while, then stopped. Reasons include:
Had kids, moved, divorced, married again, moved again, new job, mid-life crisis....you know, life.

Having decided to no longer let life be an excuse for not experiencing itself, I'm back. Writing again -- a little a least.

Looking forward to meeting other writers; new and returning.

Welcome, Dadikus. Always good to see someone coming in out of the cold. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and reading what you've written. If you've been here before, you know how it operates, otherwise there's always the FAQs, or you can ask.

Jump in.

I reserve judgement until I see some words, but I like the attitude so far. Punch some bitches in the face. Some bitches need that or they get mouthy like me.

("...welcome to writersbeat..." went the goblin hoping that nothing was too untoward in his addressing Dadikus in this manner, then restarting "...well I'm not much of a writer myself, in fact I still don't know where to draw the line in the sand as to what a writer is, I mean those readers who read those books before read "short interactive content" instead today, well would be these posts so to speak, amongst other things such as texts and tweets I suppose, but then again what has any of this got to do with my welcoming you here anyway...", to which the goblin then dipped his hand into his pocket and pulled out a full length red welcoming carpet to the words "...now I have it on good account that you humans like to walk on red carpets see, and I just thought that the next time I came across one of you humans like now then, that I'd roll out this red carpet to see what gives..." as he then bowed low and rolled out the carpet in one fling of his arms, confiding "...beats me, it's all wrong color though, surely green is to go and red is to stop I mean any goblin will tell you that much...", yet by now the goblin was wondering if anyone sane would ever this far, asking "...btw no you haven't read this far have you, good, because the sane ones don't make for good reading really as writing is an acquired madness fit only for the ones who can pulls those readers to their pens, welcome though...")
