Default shoulda got a chicken

very little food in this house
halfway through a six hour job on the truck
dizzy
gotta eat
three eggs in the carton
set carton next to stove and start the skillet heatin'
figure how to throw egg shells (as I crack them) towards the trash bucket
skillet is hot
carton falls from countertop
all three are broken (humpty dumpty wept)
turn off burner
wipe up mess
eat last piece of bread with a smear of peanut butter on it

gonna be a long afternoon

For me, this sums up the 'Oh my God, I have to get up and live another day' syndrome that plagues me more than I would like to admit these days. Good work Nick!!

Nick, "the cord"?

The umbilical cord, Mr. Pierce.

Nick, I am aghast upon envisioning such imagery!

No need to thank me, old P.
