Enjoy the last week of Wimbledon when we're down to the titans thrashing it out on court.

No to football of any variety.

I dig football, both kinds.

Tennis; I think I'd like it more if I could figure out how the scoring works.

American football seems to have the speed and edge of rugby but there's rarely a chance to catch it on UK telly. Guessing I'd find it more appealing than our own yob culture contribution.

I like to watch our football, but I loved to play yours.

Tried to play adult league a couple of years ago, but most of the players were in their 20's and I got my ass kicked.

LOL you are not the only one.
I watch Winbledon but I have not got a clue to what duce/love means even less how the score works.

Sometimes I watch women's tennis. Depending on who's playing, the score isn't that important.

I can't stand the women's tennis. They scream too much. It gets in the way.

LOL
I wonder why that is.
It is loud enough for me.
I reckon it is loud enough to make a record deal out of it.

I don't mind hearing a woman grunt and scream; if it's for the right reasons.

Ay I get what you are saying but it is annoying after 10 minutes.
You are the guy you know.

If you're doing it right, it should be more than 10 minutes.

I dislike both sports. Organized sports just seem so pointless to me. Our team or guy might win this year, but next year we start all over. Maybe if they played football to the death it would pack more of a punch.

I might get to 11 minutes, but at that point my wife is reaching for her phone.

I gotta admit, even after an hour of it, I still love it. What better compliment could a guy receive?

I like sports a lot, but I'm a very casual kind of fan. I mostly take it a game at a time, and I watch because I appreciate the skill involved. There's also the social aspect; going to games or getting together with friends to watch etc.

I don't like to talk about it much. While I generally know quite a bit about the various games and how they're played, I don't keep up with the players or stats or do a lot of speculating and analyzing. That's all very boring to me.

I know people whose days are ruined (or beyond) because their team lost. I'm not one of those people. After the game is over, I'm over it.

("...well, I confess to not liking either really, nor any other sport for that matter..." mentioned the goblin not detracting anything from the fun others might have in either doing it or watching it, then adding "...trouble is that it's a bit like the eurovision song contest, I mean catch me looking at it, even just one moment then, and there I am quite caught to the very end wondering who'll win...")
