("...question, does anyone ever click upon a link where the poster is absent in the section where it is posted, even if its free..." ventured the goblin, adding "...the only time that I have ever hit a upon a link is when I have liked the poster's posts beforehand, otherwise the poster wastes his or her time where no one I imagine is going to hit upon a pig in a poke these days.", in fact, the goblin was not singling Agatha Christie out here, merely fed up with those who posted ads in this section thinking the rest us to be unaware of the ploy, concluding "...if anyone wants a readership here, first earn it with their posts, because those posts are more the writer to their reader than any of their links are...")

Hi Fleamailman. Not sure what you mean by a ploy. I have posted lots of stuff on this site, but posting complete novels is not appropriate here. Just offering free reading to anyone who wants or who has perhaps read some of my chapters and who would like to read more.

So what's wrong with that? The site has lots of reading material for free and anyone can post up comments if they wish. My suggestion is no more an 'advertisement' than my postings on this site. I don't gain anything financially. You make out as though I trying to deceive someone.

Just offering other members a chance to read more of my stuff if they so wish.

I can't understand how my post got in this section. I thought I put in the fiction section where I usually put all my writing. Perhaps I made a mistake...

("...sorry, wasn't singling you out now..." apologized the goblin who didn't mean it as a detraction towards Agatha Christie's works, adding "...and now that you've explained it I understand, where my doubts are misplaced, though you can still run it in blovel upon the forum at some point...", just that this section seemed to get those who turned up with links away, where by now it had got to the goblin, that's all, however, to make amends he would now hit upon that link, adding "...just that, what with other thread between Lin and Front&Centre, I thought this section was being overrun by ads again, where that sort of thing should be in the pub section I believe...")
