Icon7 So I'm back...

And with many things on my mind, rather I should keep writing or quit. I'm not quite ready I don't think to show my writing as it has not went under much editing, and I'm afraid people will bash it and forget it...
I want people to read it and remember it, love it, want more of my writing. But at this point, I have had another forum bash the hell out of it and I am very sad, not giving up yet, but definitely down.

We each think our story is the best out there, mainly cause we've worked hard, edited, rewritten, and taken critique beyond what we can handle. We have created bonds with our characters and our story. Through all this, we are still told we can improve.

I just got out of a 1month, 11day writing draught so I'm a bit nervous.
I'd probably be crazy if I told you all I searched everyday during that time for inspiration. To only give up and the next day my charcater come up and tells me to do it this way with the same result I wanted for that part. In my 1year and 11month writing hobby, I have never witnessed a character that refuses to be lead any way, then when I give up he's like blah blah blah...

It's mind blowing how I tried every situation, then he wins and I do it his way. WHICH did work oout better than any of my ways ...

Am I crazy for having a character that I talk to and it seems he's life like at times?

You're not crazeee. The best character will "talk" to you. they should, that way when they do something, you're much more in tune with the "reality" of it.
As for your wants, well don't we all. I would truly rather have 1 book that everyone held onto like it was the very nectar of life itself, than have of JK Rowlings money.

Another good point, I have endured it all and will continue as long as my love for writing continues.

"...same old line I give everyone..." started the goblin, continuing "...if you can't manage to write the whole hog, just join us on the edit thread where you can experiment with your ideas as need be, or whatever then...", in fact, the goblin admired the writers on this forum when they took into account the number of readers who must be reading their posts, adding "...posts are your works too, they are your ambassadors to your readers here, good luck Eurlo and welcome back then...")

I'm back once more, I got far too busy in RL and thinking about my stories. That the one I was talking about here, didn't go too much further before hitting another dead end. and plans ARE coming along, but rather slow.

I've also been honing my art skills. ^_^ Which is now taking off!
Anyways, I decided to also get started with plans for a story I had a idea of last year. It, is not going well at all. As I have no knowledge about science...which unluckily it is about.

So I am doing some reading and I still won't know if I can write the story or not.

Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it.

lol When in doubt, fake it. Sooner or later someone will set you straight.

Best of luck to you and happy researching! I'll see you on Wikipedia.
