What is your favorite reference to music in a novel?

Mine is in The Talisman by Stephan King and Peter Straub where they mention Creedence Clearwater Revival's Run Through The Jungle. It set a great tone for the scene and I found myself hearing the song in my head and tapping my toes to it while I read (to the beats.)

Afro-Cuban Boogie-Woogie by Lin (Linton Robinson) has musical references throughout the whole story and one of the MCs is constantly singing. It's brilliant and put me in mind of some movies, which I love simply because of their soundtrack, including Good Morning Vietnam and Air America.
