A very good evening to you all,
I have learned of this site from word of mouth so to speak.
A few quick notes tt bring up, I believe idea to be the greatest
human trait of all, equally standing alongside reason.
Proper grammer and spelling are not a great concern to me, as long as
idea comes through.
I look forward to reading more of what is avaliable here and hearing from some of you in the future.

I think grammar and proper English is very important towards getting ideas across. It's much easier to understand something clearly if its put across in an articulate manner.

But our opinions are all our own, right? Welcome to Writer's Beat! Our FAQ is full of useful information so you can get around and avoid falling into the shark pool that we keep hidden under the boards The mods, in bold colours, are always available to beat you over the head with your own stupidity...I mean, to answer your questions in a nice and friendly manner whenever you have one Our Prompts & Challenges forum gives you lots ofways to bring out your writing gene if it happens to be recessive . Have fun writing!

Hi Arctic_chill! Welcome to Writer's Beat! First things first, check out our FAQ, at the top of the screen, for rules and guidelines. If you have any questions, feel free to PM a staff member. (We're the ones with bright names.)

Ideas are certainly important. For that reason, I do think proper spelling and grammar are important. At the very least, they provide a standard medium through which ideas may pass to more people. And since misspellings and bad grammar can prejudice people against my writing, I try to adhere to the standard when I have something important to say.

So what kinds of things do you write? Any particular interest or genre? We have many different styles here. Browse around, join the discussions, and have fun. When you read something interesting, be sure to leave some comments for the author. We thrive on the exchange of feedback here, so you're more likely to get help if you give it.

I look forward to seeing you around,
HoiLei
