Default Old faces, new faces ...

Thought I'd pop back and see how everyone was going. It's been about a year since I was last here and I've been cooling my heels. Life has thrown a bucket load of drama at me during that time and it's taken the edge of my writing. But I feel the stirrings within to get creative again, so here I am, looking for inspiration from you lot.

Nice to see lots of old faces about and lots of new faces too. What's been going on?

Hey, Red! So glad to see you back. I've often thought of messaging you to get back here, but I figured you may have needed some time away so I didn't want to bother you with my selfish needs.

Redlorry... nope, doesn't ring a bell here. Let me guess. You represent a Marxist haulage firm of some kind?

English is a strange language. It can be understood through tough thorough thought though.

Thanks for the welcome form the "old faces".

Bagit, you can always message me via FB.
NS, yes, I'm still a red truck.
Joe, Howdy.
Mike, thanks.

And I also just realised it's more like 2 years since I was last here. Time flies, regardless. I see the same old debates crop up like so much bad fashion. I must admit that coming back has been like slipping on a comfortable old pair of slippers.

Hey Lorry, good to see you here! I came back for a while but got angry and had to leave again, oops. Getting involved in debates isnt good for my equilibrium.

But hey, if you're back and everyone else, maybe I can stick around too.

You left before I arrived but Ed's told me a lot about you.

Welcome back.

First Calligraphy pops in, then you. I imagine the two of you, perhaps with others sitting on the porch of the Old Writer's Home and thinking "I wonder what's shaking at Writers Beat"

Its good to see you.

Actually this re-join was orchestrated. She was like, "You go say hi, and then I will."

Lorry, I had a dream about you AGAIN! Once at a carnival, this one was at a shop. Dresses and heels!

That's right -- you two are just a hop, skip and a jump away from each other.

Not that it matters, with the internet.

But if the electricity ever goes out y'all have a better chance of finding each other than most. Just wander the villages, slipping bits of money here and there: "You know Calligraphy?" "You know Redlorry?"

Someone will hook you up.

I got your and Candra's locales mixed up for a second there. I forgot you're as far away from Red as I am (give or take a bit).

Carry on.

Hey Calli, good to see you here too! How's the book series doing? Anyone who likes a fast paced monster of a tale, go check out Calligraphy's book on Amazon. You wont regret it.

Heh. Me and Lorry would have to climb over hill, dale and mountain, not to mention swim a few lakes, to get to each other. She's in pretty England while I'm in rainy Scotland. But yeah, a bit closer to each other than to Calli. Wish I was in Hawaii, lucky so and so...

How's your book doing by the way, Prodigal? Looking forward to being able to buy a copy.

("...my gosh, has it been four years already..." mused the goblin about how fast the time had passed here, adding "...ah now, a life without drama would give us with no heroes neither, where your writing will be all that be better for whatever tested you till now...")
