Default The End of the World

That the end of the world
'Twas just after us—
It surpassed the cinders of Pompeii—
Like the marbled walls let fall—
No heroes, like in the Old—

One minute ago, would keep to keep
A fighter’s last regards—
A right lineament of the Transaction
Shoves retrospection—down my throat—

The action, the Trade;—
From some, a Secondary Notice;—
Running into theorizing
Is like a body of Mettle—
Which stunningly looks like theirs
A steel-faced grimace—
The promise of death—
Who made us Wait for all this—
