It's a lot of work. I bake most days, cook from scratch and grow veggies. Usually it's closer to ninety dollars but hubby had a dentist bill this week.

I hate to say this but you need to get rid of two kids. I know, I know that's a difficult choice but in these hard economic times sacrifices must be made.

Like most parents I'm sure you have your favorite/s among the kids and that should make your decision easier. You really need to focus on all the things you could do with that extra cash. The new hot tub, a long vacation, turn those empty bedrooms into a game room. I'll bet that's got you thinking, don't it?

It's not like you'll never see them again. Trust me. When we got rid of two of ours they kept coming around wanting to come home but the restraining order put an end to that nonsense. Problem solved.

Children are a tremendous burden on parents and on society. Eventually they want to learn to drive and maybe go to college. Their list of demands are endless much like a black hole.

Anyhow I hope I have been of help or at least given you food for thought. If you really area having a difficult time deciding which ones need to get the boot you can use the old paper, scissors, rock method.

Right. Like we should take your word for that. Best way to reduce expenses is make your kids work. If they don't leave, at least you're getting something for your money. Maybe that's why my kids hate me. Still, they are all financially sound. I've been thinking of hitting them up for a loan.

Don't sell yourself short they have plenty of other reasons to hate you.

Whew! I hope they have short memories. Why does your dog hate you? Our cat disappeared after 13 years. Never could get him to work or even empty his litter box.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the name of the independent publisher?

There are several out there who aren't really publishers like the the common ones.

Hi, Little Mel. Totally understandable. Why not.
There are some very dodgy publishers out there. You would need to verify everything about them before going there. I hope you have luck with your self publishing choice.

Default Making a Choice

It doesn't have to be bravery.

Self-publishing works for most genres.
Do you know someone who is the publishing business?

It would be a good idea to still talk to someone. A little guidance in the process.

Yes, do what works for you. At all costs.
