Default Shoot Some Colour On The Wall

British kid all zits and jizz...talkin' hoes and dealin' crack... dunno what the 8 mile is... little rich boy don't know jack... momma ain't no country gal... I just saw her drive to work...looking polished as a diamond...in her silver fuckin' Merc...just keep sucking on those Benson's...'til yer throat's like broken glass...you're as fuckin' gangsta edgey...as a baby's powdered ass

Nick Pierce hugs his piece
when he goes for a crap
twitchin' out his bus'ness
countin' bullets on his lap

but he's in L.A... that's their way... shootin' every day
and no doubt... gun devout...keeps 'em out... starin' down a spout
and yer skin... gets so thin... when they win...and the door caves in
gotta...pack...as...you...parcel
when...they're...stormin'...your...castle

and his best judgement call?
Shoot some colour on the wall.

You pretend you're a survivor...and shit almost got you beaten...you're a spoilt little fucker...and you'll prob'ly go to Eton...heard you set light to a park bench...kicked a bin to prove you're strong...and you vandalize in pencil...case you spell the swear words wrong...you're a lightweight sack of priv'lage...so just show some fuckin' class..you keep messin' with my village...and I'll kick your boney ass

Nick Pierce hugs his piece
when he goes for a crap
twitchin' out his bus'ness
loadin' bullets on his lap

right wingers... choral singers...half the choir are fuckin' swingers
Forbes rankers...city bankers... facebook thankers... fuckin' wankers
the London train... in pouring rain... late again...just snort cocaine
but... life...had... to... spoil...it
found...me...wrecked...in ...the..toilet

and my best judgement call?
shoot some colour on the wall.

if you think this rig ain't hardcore...best start looking underneath...if you piss on my geraniums...you'll be shitting out your teeth...I can rhyme your ass til Sunday...I can spout my jam ad lib...when I've watered all my roses...gonna smoke weed in my crib...better man up little princess...and throw down some words in pen...you're a twat to mess with Grace...'cos I'm the village Eminem

Nick Pierce hugs his piece
when he goes for a crap
twitchin' out his bus'ness
loadin' bullets on his lap

blood spills...takin' pills...all I see is rollin' hills
pack a Glock...what a crock...guess who rode the vicar's cock
take a hike...what's not to like...village bobby on his bike
but...life...deals...you...shocks
throwing...cans...at...my...fox

and my best judgement call?
shoot some colour on the wall.

You know, drop a beat and hit it.

A fun read.

you know, Grace, i dig it but my only advice is the format could be more street-style. you're whole tango is class versus ingratitude for your own talent, kind of a contrast that is or is not an accident. i can't tell. i write prissy, and i'll admit i could never write this, so for all the compliments, bravo, kudos, and amen, cause you's da village eminem.

way to cook up a smirk! btw, i missed commenting on something you wrote years back, the goblin, the ghoul, the ghost. something like that sort. i liked it so much and then i was spamming on alerts, all hands and knees to the mod-kindreds. so, i couldn't crit. write something phantasmagoric next time. like ethereal, but ghetto style. just so i can read. ??

It is a rap Bri. Didn't post it under Lyrics in case it ruined the comprehensive Jim Colyer catalogue.

It works in my head rapped with that vehement, stinging tone that Eminem uses on Dre's 'I Need A Doctor'.

Try it in Eminem's voice, not mine.

Hoped the musicians amongst us would appreciate the song construct.

Could I record it? Hell no, got a voice like Joanna Lumley

Channel Tupac and Biggie Smalls rappin' to each other about how the world has changed yet stays the same.

Prep your receptiveness for their visitation by listening to their stuff for a few hours.

Hey, you asked.

Joanna Lumley has a great interviewers voice. But rapping, yeah, not so good.

Uh-huh. Strictly train announcements, pudding commercials and dirty phone calls.
