iBarbie

she was like a barbie doll
dumb pony tail bopping
to the beat
i thought i can’t compete
not
with that
she had all the guys drooling
queuing up to buy her a drink
then i said to meself
drew you fool
stop and think
you can bend yer legs
wrap them round a guy’s back
scratch and bite like
a horny alley cat
as well as many other tricks
and stunts

it’s ken i feel sorry for
can’t have a tit wank and worst
of all there’s no hole
no working cunt
plastic enigmatic charismatic un-fantastic

half the bitches on the dancefloor
are plastic with their hidden scars
and alien faces
crowned with their false blondeness
and i think
drew
you are a golden star

I suppose it is difficult to outdo yourself when you have set the mark so high with previous work.

That being noted you have managed with this to keep up with you.

really cruel, very vivaciously written. i love it. perfect forum format and book format! nice job, my only nit is that it's not long enough. you expect that it could be soothingly long because the whole posting is so relieving, like a pharmacy that fills ur prescript without the whole ordeal. nicely inspiring.

All of it was great iDrew, but I especially like this part.

half the bitches on the dancefloor
are plastic with their hidden scars
and alien faces

I feel like there was a subtle shift in this poem. It seems more sparse than poems in the past. And I felt like

their hidden scars
and alien faces
crowned with their false blondeness

represented a more thoughtful approach to word choices. Maybe I'm being stupid. I am domesticated, so I know that "stupid" is at least one of the choices when something I say doesn't make sense.

Loved it iDrew! Everything you write is good. But for what ever reason, I especially liked this poem.

Big big thanx to all. Hugs and kisses all round, even Mr Pierce if he promises to behave and keep his wandering hands under control. By the way Nick, did you manage to catch that documentary. It's a BBC one but is on YouTube, just didn't know if it was blocked in the US as I know how protective the BBC can be.

Kirk. I think I'm just growing up a little. That's depressing.
