Wolverine got his memories back
His real memories

All over the planet people began deleting programs

Some used sledgehammers
One fellow used a bullet
to his head

Some folks were locked into Max Security Leavenworth
(for their own safety)

Wolverine started his payback in Japan
Finished, tired, he stowed away on a U.S. bound freighter

Hungry, he sliced off his left bicep
(he regenerates, you know)

I'm grateful I'm not on his list

Mr. Pierce, does the flavor of this piece come across?

Excuse me, Nick?

What I mean is does it make the leap from page to palate?

Nick, I believe you are referring to a matter of taste.

Pierce, yer yankin' me, ain't ya?

Nick. really.
That you would even ask.

It is a poem. It's a Nick special with titanium bones and ripped muscles. Sometimes you just want to slash out. I loved it. No helpful critique. Sorry Nick!

You wouldn't wanna be fingered by Wolverine. What? We've all thought it.

You're in no danger until the fist goes in up to the wrist.

What?
Simple anatomy.

Ernest Hemingway could write masterfully while plastered at a Tiki bar. As for the rest of us, I am less certain.

I write the same either way. A dozen beers might loosen me a little, allow me to experiment some, but it doesn't change the result much, if any.

I suppose cumulatively beer may pose a problem, but so far, naw. It's the same either way.
