Default Love, it's complicated

My girlfriend
wants to be
my boyfriend

I've given her
my heart

She wants
another part

Says I can
own her

If I'm
her donor

So I sit
when I pee

And reach out
to hold
onto
me

Yes, Nick, it's all very well to have a message but is it being delivered poetically?

It's being delivered, Nick, in simple words . What we get from it depends on our life experience.

I like it. Thanks for posting.

On first read, I thought it was funny. I can see there is more to it than the physical. Clever!

You know, Mr. Pierce, I really think I'm startin' to get the hang of this rhyme poetry thing.

Nick, sometimes I am at a complete loss for a way to respond to you.

I'm not even going to pretend to know what's going on here.

Don't hold it against me. Two weeks ago I couldn't even spell moderator; suddenly I are one.

Beats me what happened.

what are you, copying the way u think about bukowski?? it's not all planned. the last thing is this, stay courageous, which means true to yourself! i'm lucky i escaped from ur enchantment.

"Fateful chance—
At the last!"

this is ^ again, my ex. so don't use it "to con the righteous syllables!"

it’s the hope of a secure individual.

If we all got together, can you imagine how many places we'd be thrown out of before we finally settled down in some 100 year old bar that wasn't on the historic tour and smelled every bit of 200 years old?

That's funny. I was once on track to become part-owner of a bar like that. After we closed the restaurant at night we'd turn the chairs up onto the tables. From behind the bar I could see, between the table legs, the polished wood floor reflecting light from the street. Every so often, a mouse would scurry across the floor and, on slow nights, I would hop the bar, head the mouse off and smack my cupped hand down on it. Whether it was fear or the shock wave, I don't know, but the poor little things would keel over and die, quivering. I'd pin their little bodies up, by the tail, on a board behind the bar and keep a nightly mouse count.

Soon there were no slow nights. People were coming down just to watch the crazy bartender and see how many mice he could catch.

At any rate, I'd been thrown out of there, too.

Nick, why are you reposting this?

Oh there is a guy (maybe) that typed he (or she) likes poetry that rhymes.

Why, Nick, how considerate of you.

Yeah, Mr. P. - sometimes I can be a real prince. Or, as some may enjoy speculating, princess.

If you can't keep it out of the water, then, she should already be happy with where things are and who's got what.
