Come one we have all gone through love and hate.
the question here is:

Does love prevail?

Absolutely.

Of course there are always the internet geniuses who are compelled to boil it down to biology and evolution, but screw them.

Nope. I’m one of those internet geniuses who boils it down to biology and science. You fairy-dust bitches need to pull your heads out.

Unless of course you are attracted to sheep, clowns, or fire. I’d accept that😀

Well, not this time. Haven't you ever heard of "private browsing?"

Y’only need private browsing when you’re ashamed of what you do online.

BTW, I watch girl on girl. I figure if my wife finds anything, that's the safest.

I believe it's a reference to the fact that love is just a physical reaction to the combining of our chemical essences.

In other words, it's nothing special; just an electro-chemical reaction that we can feel.

That's why it hurts so bad when it goes away.

It is there for a reason but I never use it. I am sure somewhere down the computer line it is not as private as it may say.

I wish I did, but no, it is just some positive evolutionary traits, summed up as trust, lust and a need to procreate.

Here is the worst part, we all realise very swiftly that love is nonsense, yet society requires us to pretend it still exists... odd.

I'm still waiting for it. I'm beginning to think that there is nobody for me.

Yeah - be the agent of your own demise.

Nah, it ain't that bad - you could end up like bp, loving one woman and have her loving you back forever, but then when one of you dies, the other one is fucked.

Guess those memories are supposed to carry you through.

Or you could be like me, being with one woman for eight years so far, after a lifelong string of year-and-a-half long nightmares, just to see what it's like to be with one person for that long.

Which has actually worked out well - we fight less, and have less problems than any of my previous girlfriends (or wives), and the affection I had for her in the beginning has actually turned into something more like love.

Maybe that's the route you need to take - some kind of arranged deal, like a business agreement. It'd probably last longer than love.

I can't agree with that, and I am sorry to hear that you feel this way.

("...well isn't that two questions there..." mentioned the goblin continuing "...one of whether one believes in love, and another of whether love will prevail too...", not that the goblin allowed himself to believe in anything really, for either he knew something from his experience of it, or didn't know it really for all his conjectures he held towards its likelihood there, instead he just confided "...alas I know love from being in love with someone I shouldn't be in love with at the moment, yes it's very persistent, my thoughts have been circling her orbit for days if not weeks it seems, and will it prevail though, no way hopefully, but it might persist though...")
