Default Where did they go?

Just wondering where the previous members went, and no, this ain't no excuse to beat the dead horse that is WritersBeat. Just wondering where the members such as: Lon Palmer, Shelly/CityBoy, Devon, Zelbacon, (we already spoke of Mike C and Max Crash) etc. Etc. Went to and if they are doing well.

Where have all the old members gone?
Off to Facebook one by one.
When will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?

PickleBottom has recently resurfaced. I think that is how it goes - people have busy lives, and don't always have time to sit and chat.

I've personally been gone for a year one time (lifetime ban), and several months another (long days at work, seven days a week), but I always come back. It's like any group of people; some drift in, some drift out, but I'm like you - I always wonder about the ones we don't hear from anymore, and I know the ghost of Ed still misses Nok.

("...it takes time and effort to post..." observed the goblin who understanding that fact kept at it, and forgave others that couldn't make the distance nor keep up the pace, smiling "...most folks return though, just that "journey to self" doesn't go away for all one's preoccupation with dailylife, kind of reminds me of those women who, having got their work together in their late thirties, slowly learn that they can't find a husband because they left it too late and held too high expectations of themselves, well then, writing is the same thing, where fluidity of pen takes much practice indeed, and is basically what one puts into it over those years one is here...")

It's been a while, but Lon went off to a different poetry forum that was more compatible with his work and style of critique, but I have no idea what he's doing now.

("...which is where their unsernames come in handy, so if have a unsername that is unique to you, anyone can google your unsername to find your threads on other forums, same goes for others folks too..." advised the goblin adding a proviso though, stating "...whereas if you use a different unsername for each forum you're on, or if you have a username that is not unique enough then, something very common, then they won't find you across forumland neither...", also using one unique username for yourself cuts back on those accusations of one being an AE, or sockpuppet of old, smiling "...honestly, writers are often their own worst enemies when it comes to gaining readership across forumland...")
