Have you thought of seeking out an agent to represent your work? You can find them online and check with Predators and Editors to see if the one you wish to choose is a crook or not. There are publishers on that site also. Don't trust the ones that want large fees up front.

As to how to get them to consider representing your work, I can't give advice. I had two graphic novels I wrote and illustrated, contacted every agent and most the publishers in America, all raved about the work and then said they couldn't use it.

good luck.

It's something you have to make time for, I'm afraid. If you're serious about being published you have to be serious about your research.

Pick up your favourite YA books and see who they are publlished by, or if you're looking for an agent, look in the acknowledgemet section. Some of the top ones want paper version, but it's usually just a synopsis and first three chapters. Agents will sometimes accept e-subs, but it's where you have to do the legwork to find out.

Do a search for YA scifi/fantasy publishers, narrow down your search as much as possible. If they are asking you to pay for anything -- walk away. Each pblisher/agent will have details on how they like work submitted.
