Calling all poets!
Arts Council England, South West is running a poetry competition with an attractive £500 cash prize for the winner.
Entries must be about food, nature or the South West and should be no longer than 250 words.
The competition is being judged by Patricia Oxley, editor of poetry journal Acumen, Sally Crabtree from TipofyourTongue in Penzance, and Arts Council England, South West's literature officer Kate Offord.
Anyone can have a go and it's free to enter but poems must reach the Arts Council by November 30.
The winner will receive a prize of £500 and have their poem published on the Arts Council website for all to see.
