Default Buggin'

The Mosquito in my head is growing wing
weary

The buzzing is slower today

She thought herself clever

Gettin' in where I couldn't get her
(did she slip in with a snore or glide in
on a gasp as I dreamt of mankind's
benevolent earth stewardship?)

She has been slammin' that hypodermic nose of hers
against my skull's inside tryin' to find a
life sustaining vein

Ha!

Ain't nothin' been vital in there since Lennon
was murdered

Mornings I stand facing South
(or North)
and feel the planet rolling
(to the left if South/ to the ... ) and as the
fire orb is presented I hear the bugger
makin' for the light

Then (and my timing gets better everytime)
I look to the West

BaDing!

The maddened malarial mama ricochets around like a
rifle fired .22 in a titanium sphere

Ironic, ain't it, how the critter put so much
effort into gettin' in only to find what it
wants most is to get out

Not smart as humans

They spend most of their time actin' like this
is how it will be forever
even though each of them knows the only
thing for certain is this ain't gonna last

I think I will start jogging

That oughta shake up the little vampire wannabe some

You could run with WritingLizzy, jiggling her words into WB or jog with JoeMatt on a machine at the office. I hear Nok's going to put in a big tile walk-in shower so she can put a treadmill in the shower, open the window, turn a fan on and pretend she's outside running in the rain (minus the puddles).

One way or another, you'll have plenty of company.

not sure how i missed this ...

not too far from the same.
one reason i like the desert is its lack of clutter. you can feel the planet rolling, suffer earth's rotation.

jeez man, i like the way your mind works, i mean, that buzzing inside the gourd, that incessant buzzing, which is getting so much work lately that it must be tired...

btw, and this:
ricochets around like a rifle fired .22 in a titanium sphere
the sheer metallic crispness of this amazing. in so few words.

profound . . . hidden in a humorous mosquito story. I like the way you think, enjoy how you put it into words.

If this wondering is for me then I gotta confess that no, I don't.

On another front- can I use your avatar pic for my avatar pic?

I like the piece. Only thing that bugged me(yes, pun intended)is the idea that you know what the bugger is thinking, or that it "knows" a particular thing. Only time we can know what something or someone else knows or thinks is never. All we can know is how they're behaving. If you wrote that "maybe" the so and so is thinking such and such...nevertheless, I like the piece so
thanks for a
Good read!

Sounds like he made the rookie mistake of wearing the head net under the foil hat instead of outside it. That never works, the foil eventually cuts the netting and the little buggers get in that way.

I sure hope there is some room in today's posts for this ... ahem ... seasoned piece.

Are lyrics posted somewhere?

I see now you got three pieces posted at soundcloud.

Tomorrow I'm gonna ask my tech guy to put them on the little thing that makes earbud noise for me while I work in a loud machines warehouse environment.

Then your vocal tones will make living this life a little better.

Thanks.
