Default A different slant

That ol' boy, Donald

Day two at his new job and he's doin'
just as he said he would

Examples:

The Keystone and Dakota pipelines
are a go again with this caveat -
the pipe that is gonna be laid in America
is gonna be made in America

This is steel pipe and havin' grown some
in Pittsburgh I can feel a ripple of
Iron City flexing all the way down here
in Florida as men (okay, women also)
begin limbering up at the time clock queue
(yeah, I know ain't nobody sayin' "queue"
at a Steel Mill)

Yes, yes - the environmentalists are screaming
and they have valid points

But listen - when you are drivin' a jeep across
a desert and the radiator is runnin' low
you can stop and hope help shows up or you
can take facilitating action

And that may require everyone puttin' their
water into the reservoir

Yes - we men folk will look aside as the
wimmin hang onto the hood rim while squatting

Exceptional measures don't require we devolve to
barbarian level

The other choice is eatin' much, much more
rice and knowing second class citizenship in
the homeland

Hey!
Watch it with them chopsticks, Kum Ling
You almost plucked my eye out

When I was a boy; according to my mother one's eye could be put out with spoon or a straw in one's drinking glass. Either implement, being singular ( hence representing fewer resources ) instead of a pair, is no doubt more efficient at the task than chopsticks. Perhaps Yankee ingenuity may yet re-assert itself.

America and Russia as bully buddies means China is losing its lunch money.
