From my perspective rhyme is extremely dangerous. By this I mean to say beginning poets can focus on end-rhymes to the detriment of thought. They don't yet grasp that rhyme arises naturally from within; that rhyme appears internally, not only at conclusions; that hunting for rhyme is akin to capitalizing every line. (Simply for the sake of capitalizing every line.)
