Icon3 Publish You Writing Via Games?

As writers, sometimes we come up with new ways to get our written word out. I still write, staff writer for Mission Health Magazine, but I mainly develop new games. I have seen a growing trend with the Indies to have games that have a LOT of reading, in them. This means they are doing more writing. Have you ever thought of publishing your writing via games?

OOPS! There is an R missing in the thread name. Publish Your Writing Via Games?

Form how many books with short stories can be found in marrow wind, and oblivion.. I could see some people being able to take advantage of such a thing. If I remember correctly, both took a team of around 10-15 to develop, code, art, and all the other things creating a game that size in tells.
With that many people, could have been notes they just scratched on a tissue. Really not sure about all the books. But really could be a way to advertise a story. Problem with that, there is a percentage that would read the first few they picked up, then stopped doing. It does slow down the game... a Lot.
If you have not ever played either and hope I spelt the first game correctly. You can just look on youtube about it. After two episodes, you could see the game is packed with books.

I wrote for an indie game company once who paid weekly. It really was ten minutes of work a week for a decent sum. I wouldn't mind doing that again.

You shouldn't set the bar so low.

I think it would be great fun, but it would depend on the type of game. I would have to have some interest in the idea.

As an avid writer and gamer, this would probably be like a dream job for me. Unfortunately, not many games developers take on employees who don't have qualifications up the wazoo! Shame.

I've catered my story in such a way while writing, I don't imagine it would come with great difficulty to transition the concepts into a game. The actualization of my story via game or cinema would be a delight for me, perhaps.
