("...well, there's something out there..." smiled the goblin who kept thinking that there wasn't until something in his life reminded him that there was each time, then adding "...though whether he's answerable or just aware of things I don't know, but I could say that my ghosts aren't real neither, no they're not real perhaps even so they're still there to me, and that's enough for me I guess...")

There might be "something out there." That's about as far as I'm willing to go...

Where's good old Cityboy when you need him?

The word "God" is usually some kind of dog whistle that beckons him from afar...

It's a bloody TORCH.

A flashlight is some sort of pulsing strobe thingy from a night club.

A flaming stick is what I have to throw for the flaming dog in the flaming park.

And now I s'pose I better whack up a smiley just to indicate the playfulness behind my comments...

I miss JoeMatt...never had this smiley shit with him

(sigh)

Since when has a majority opinion made something exist? They may believe it, but does it make it a fact?

I have no idea what you're talking about.

I use smilies because it's often hard to to detect humor and sarcasm in an online environment; and I don't want to unnecessarily hurt anyone's feelings.

You're an exception. Not everyone is as astute and attuned to humor. I'm simply trying to accommodate everyone and avoid conflict.

Thanks so much for your comment.

True that. Good point but isn't that how elections work?

Did you take the survey?

Not in the US. We are a republic, not a democracy. It is entirely possible to get the majority of single votes but lose the election.

One has got to love Voltaire.
However and to be pedantic one may say there is a difference between to exist and real.
