I like how this description goes for Terry's "First Confessor", "Every great legend begins with another and every great warrior has a mother." I am thrilled with what's happening in the publishing world now.

It was at #28 Best Selling on Kindle.

It's now #54.

It is priced at $8.99

Delivery fee of around $0.10

($8.99 - $0.10) x 70% = $6.223 royalties for each sale.

1,000 sold = $6,223 in royalties
10,000 sold = $62,223 in royalties.

etc...

Both Terry Goodkind and Brandon Sanderson have self-published books out or in the works. I think "hybrid" authors will be much more prevalent in the future.
