Default Silence is not golden

I really like this, it conveys the speaker's bleak emotions well. Effective play on common concepts, images, colours - it reads almost like a poem in prose. The overall sense of starkness and stillness comes through strongly.

I loved this poem. It's short and reads easy and he knows how to play with words.
